Over 400 People Dead and 600 Missing In Sierra Leone Mudslide Sierra Leone commenced a week of national mourning on Wednesday as rescue workers stepped up their search for victims of the mudslide that ravaged a town outside of Freetown on Monday morning. Vice President Victor Foh told Reuters at the scene: “It is likely that hundreds are lying dead underneath the rubble.” Below are pictures showing some of the devastation left behind by the mudslide.
