Notorious kidnapper, Vampire, killed by police (photos)

Henry Chibueze popularly known as Vampire who is a notorious kidnapper and had been terrorizing the eastern part of the country has been killed by the police after he and members of his gang were engaged in an overnight gun battle.

Vampire made headlines in January after members of his gang in a daring move stormed the Owerri High Court in Imo State where he was facing trial and rescued him while also killing two persons.

According to the Nigeria Police Force, operatives from the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team trailed him to his hideout in Omu-Awa forest in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State in the early hours of Thursday, March 2 where he was killed after a shootout.

The five members of gang are now in Police custody, they are: 1. Obinna Ela 2. Arinze Abecheta 3. Chukwu Ebuka 4. Samuel Ugochukwu 5. Clifford AHEANA. They are responsible for so many kidnap and Armed Robbery attacks in Imo, Abia, Rivers, Delta and other States in the South-South/South-East where several innocent people were killed by the gang. They will be paraded and charged to court on completion of investigation.
